Complete Battery Solution

Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cad)

Used when long life cycles, low operating temperatures, high drain currents and low cost is required like power tools and emergency lighting. The cost of NiCad is cheap and easy to charge as well but tend to suffer from memory-effect problems which need to be discharge and recharge to refresh the battery life.

Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH)

Still popular among portable devices used in a variety of applications. NiMH has a higher capacity over Ni-Cad batteries, better self discharge characteristics. NiMH is also less likely to suffer from common memory-effect problems.

Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion)

This newest battery technology providing high energy density, low self discharge and light weight. Lithium Ion is begining to be the hot choice for OEMs manufacturer looking to optimize battery life and reduce weight in their electronic devices.

Lithium Polymer Battery Li-Po)

Lithium Polymer technology has the same characteristics as Lithium Ion except it is thinner and lighter in weight, catering for the need of small form factor products.
